Leaves on a Stream

In the following video, Dr. Anderson is using an exercise called, “Leaves on a Stream.”  This exercise is a form of mindfulness, and is often used by ACT clinicians to help us notice that our thoughts are simply thoughts, and that we don’t always have to respond to them.  We can just notice them as experiences.
